INGRESS STRATEGIES

The name is
the method.

Ingress, noun: the act of entering; a way in. We picked it because it describes the job better than any tagline could.

Every hard problem has a way in. Most people are standing at the wrong door.

They push on the obvious entrance because it’s the one everyone can see. The press release, the bigger ad buy. Sometimes that works. More often it’s locked, and the real opening is somewhere less obvious: a different audience, or a person nobody thought to call.

Ingress Strategies exists to find that opening, and then to go through it with whatever the job needs. That’s the whole method. The rest of this site is detail.

Finding the door is half of it. The other half is winning.

We’re in the business of outcomes: bills passed or stopped, races won, permits granted, a reputation that survives a bad week. Strategy that reads well and loses is still a loss. The address is a reminder of that every time someone types it.

The firmIngress Strategies, LLC

Consulting, research and communications, in one firm, on purpose.

Most clients end up hiring those separately and spending their time getting the pieces to talk to each other. Keeping them together means the research shapes the message, and the person giving you strategic advice also knows what the numbers say.

We work with political, government and corporate clients, and we choose engagements where judgment changes the result. If we can’t see the opening, we’ll tell you.

We’ve led campaigns at the local, statewide and national level for all three, and we do official research and communications work for government. Highly regulated industries are our specialty.

The method is borrowed from science: form a hypothesis, then change your mind when the evidence says to. Whatever the climate, there’s a way in, and the evidence shows us where.

Find your
way in.

Tell us what you’re up against. There’s no pitch deck. If we aren’t the right firm for it, we’ll say so.
